OK – I must admit when mom called me and requested a newborn session with her 7 1/2 week old son, I was a bit tentative. I explained to her that newborn sessions are usually held anywhere from 5-15 days old, because the baby is still sleepy and curled up from the mothers womb.
Although, I do feel that every single second of a babies first year is just so amazing – I was excited to capture her son at this very moment in time. For my first year portrait sessions, I capture them at newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year. So I was excited to see what this 7 1/2 week old boy would do for me!!! ;O)
Well, check it out. He was the champions of champions! Rocked the session. “Newborn poses- no prob. Let me do some 3 month poses for ya too - lady!!!” ( that’s the baby talkin!)
