I have been in love with photography for years. I studied economics and art in college - but shortly after I graduated and realized that I could not do anything but photography.
My photography schooling was assisting a few big time photographers in NYC for 5 years. After that - I moved to Newport RI and started Ludwig Photography. I soon became one of the leading wedding photographers for the Newport Bellevue Avenue Mansions. For years, I ran a busy wedding business and still to this day enjoy shooting a few weddings a year.
Once I got married and had three amazing children of my own, my photography naturally evolved into portrait photography. Currently, my love for newborn and children photography is borderline obsessive! I absolutely love to capture the newborns, still curled up from the mothers womb, and I enjoy posing them on natural organic textures and authentic props. I always am on the look out for antique boxes and baskets, the cutest hats I can find and the softest blankets to touch.
I am so blessed to have found a career I can grow with. One thing about photography is that you are always learning. It has been an amazing journey so far and I am so thankful that my clients have the faith in me to capture the most precious people in their lives!
